Mark Alan Burroughs

Mark Alan Burroughs, age 32, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on February 17, 1988, to Michael Burroughs and Deborah Clark.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Alice Burroughs.

Mark is survived by his beloved two year old son, Weston Burroughs of Edgewood, NM; father, Michael Robert Burroughs (step-mother, Denise Nigro) of Rio Rancho, NM; mother, Deborah Clark (step-father, Lee Clark) of Edgewood, NM; grandmother, Mary Miller of Edgewood, NM; brother, Steven Clark; uncle and aunt, Robert and Laurel Grimes of Albuquerque, NM; niece, Delaney Grimes of Albuquerque, NM; nephew, Ryan Grimes of Albuquerque, NM; step-sisters, Jenna Paulson, and Nicole Paulson of Rio Rancho, NM; and last but not least, his sweetest friend and companion, his lab Sammy.

Mark was a graduate of East Mountain High School, and he was a member at St. Mary's Episcopal Church. He had many friends in the motocross world and he loved to ride. He could often be found working on cars and was always willing to give a helping hand. Mark loved all things outdoors; camping, fishing, hunting, long range shooting, and going to the lake were some of his go-to's for fun. He excelled at his job and was known for his hard work as a cellular communications tower worker. Without a doubt Mark's greatest pride and joy was his son, Weston. Mark was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend to all those who knew him. He will be forever loved and greatly missed.
