Mark Jon Olson

OLSON - Mark Jon Olson, 46, passed away March 05, 2009. He was born in Minot, North Dakota to Roy and Helen Anne Olson with an elder brother Michael David. Lived in Albuquerque, NM and Houston, TX where he received his Bachelor of Science from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. He married Kristen Kay Pricer while working in Grants, NM. They then moved to Santa Rosa, NM working as an officer for the Game & Fish Department in 1993 for 2 years, then moving to Las Vegas, NM as a wildlife officer then sergeant in 1995 to 2006, moving to Albuquerque as a Habitat Specialist until March 2009. He loved the Game & Fish Dept. and devoted much of his spare time helping in many of their different programs, but the most important thing was his family and spending time with them. He was proceeded in death by his father Roy L. Olson and is survived by his wife Kristen and daughters Kaitlyn and Amanda; mother, Helen Anne Olson; brother, Michael and family. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be given to a memorial for his daughters at the State Employees Credit Union.
