MARLENE G. HARWOOD Albuquerque, NM -- Marlene went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Marlene was born on July 13, 1935 to Charles and Jeanette Giuffra of Brooklyn, NY. Marlene graduated from Oneonta University, NY, with a Degree in Teaching. She taught for many years in the NY public and private school system. She leaves behind her brother, Charles Giuffra and wife Donna of McLean, VA; son, Michael Harwood and wife, Debbie of Houston, TX; daughter, Charlene Biessel and husband, Ken of Ruby, MI; daughter, Jean Marie Salas and husband, Joel of Huntington, NY; precious Grandchildren: Catherine Harwood; Zachary, Jay and Cydney Biessel; Austin, Justin and Kristen Salas. Marlene enjoyed the beautiful mountains of New Mexico, and was thankful for her friends and Church in Albuquerque, where she lived for the past 25 years.
