Marlene Y. Trujillo-Meyer

Trujillo-Meyer, Marlene Yvette Age 48, beloved wife and loving mother, daughter and sister was an extraordinary woman. She shared her wisdom and inspired those with whom she had contact. Marlene believed God existed within each of us and had a profound sense of love and respect for nature. Marlene was embraced by the Lord and taken to Eternal life, Wednesday, August 21, 2013, while surrounded by her loving family. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Highlands University in 1993; She was a consultant for the North Eastern Regional Co-operative from 1997 - 2007. Marlene was a Special Education Teacher at Rio Gallinas Charter School in Las Vegas, NM, Tierra Adentro Charter School and La Promesa Charter School in Albuquerque. Marlene embraced life outdoors. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert J. Trujillo. Marlene is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Carlos Meyer; her precious children, Santiago, Estevan and Marisol Meyer; her mother, Consuelo (Gonzales) Trujillo; her siblings, Mark Trujillo, Peggy Salazar and Ana Pacheco; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Marlene will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose hearts she touched. Service of Christian Burial will be Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth Street NW, Albuquerque.
