Marlene Tsosie

January 26, 1960 — January 30, 2011

Marlene Tsosie was born into the Towering House People Clan and born for the Bitter Water Clan. Tsosie attended Window Rock Hish School, Yavapai College and Oklahoma University. She was employed with NTUA, as an administrative coordinator for the General Managers Office for 24 years. She enjoyed traveling and participating in the powwow circuit. Survivors include her husband, Richard K. Donaghey; daughetr, Richelle Donaghey; parents, Howard D. Tsosie, Mary M. Tsosie; brother, Troy P. Denetsosie; sisters, Angela Gusman, Helena Tsosie. Tsosie was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard Tsosie Jr., Paul Denetsosie; grandparents, Charles Guy, Luey Kee, Bluecoat, Lena Benally. Pallbearers will be Lyle Tom, Alexander Guzman, Kenny Donaghey, Jared Brown, Dominic Largo, Jerry Upshaw. The family will receive relatives and friends at Navajoland Inn and Suites, St. Michaels, AZ, 12-8p.m., following services. Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of services.
