Allison, Marlin Hugh
Marlin was born November 6, 1955 in Sombrillo, New Mexico, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Allison. He lived in San Pedro, New Mexico, where he grew up and attended schools in the Espanola Valley area. After graduation, Marlin enlisted in the Air Force where eventually he became a flight engineer on the C5 transport plane. Marlin flew in the Gulf War and traveled all over the world. He was very proud to serve his country. After serving in the Air Force for 18 years, Marlin was medically discharged and soon after settled down in Rio Rancho with his wife Barbara. Marlin was instrumental in organizing the membership and parts data bases for the 2926 steam locomotive restoration project with NMSLRHS. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth M. Allison, mother Effie Bell-Allison-Boudinier, older brother C.J. Allison of Wyoming, and stepfather Wayman F. Boudinier. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Allison; brothers Wayne Allison of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Jimmie Allison of Corrales, New Mexico, and sister Virginia Allison Peabody of Corrales, New Mexico. Marlin is also survived by a adoptive brother, Joe Dale Julian of Magdalena, NM, step sister Linda Boudinier-Jacobson of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri and step brother Wayman S. (Bucky) Boudinier of Bloomington, Illinois and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
