Martha Fuery

Martha Frances Fuery, 76, passed away on February 27, 2018, in Albuquerque, NM.  Martha was born in Champaign, IL to Sybil and Clarence Roth on October 16, 1941.

Martha (Marti) retired from the Albuquerque Journal in 2010.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.  She loved to hike, horseback ride, travel and antique shop.  Marti also loved volunteering and dedicated 10 years to Civitan Club of Albuquerque.  

Marti is survived by her three children: son, Thomas (Doreen) Fuery; daughters, Cheryl Esquibel and Erica (Ambrose) Pena; six grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Naquel, Alyssa, Riley, and Sarah.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held July 27, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Daniels Family Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE 87109.  Friends and family are welcome to attend and share stories about Marti's life.
