Martha Elizabeth Gomez

GOMEZ -- Martha Elizabeth Gomez, 81, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died on January 3, 2009 after a brief but courageous fight. Martha is survived by her three children, Steve Gomez and wife, Mary Ann, of 29 years before her death, of Carnuel, NM, Linda Swan and husband, Bob, of Richfield, OH and Michael Gomez and wife, Susan, of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Francessca Mora and husband, Ray, Alicia Sanasac and husband, Zach, Raquel Casaus and Jesse Gomez, all of Albuquerque, NM. Martha dearly loved and received great joy from her three great-grandsons, Julian Michael Mora (Bubba) age 13, Jaden Ray Mora (Shorty) and Andres Miguel Casaus (Boo) both age ten. Martha is also survived by her sisters, Helen Sacco and husband, Santy, of Albuquerque and sister, June Garcia, and husband, Ray, of Gallup, NM in addition to many loving family members. Family and friends will meet to celebrate her life, her faith, and the wonderful hope for the future she held dear as a faithful, dedicated, and baptized servant of Jehovah for 49 years. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Kie; and brother, Thomas Creager both from Laguna Pueblo.
