Martha Marti"" Ann (Sturdivant) Wilden

MARTHA "MARTI" ANN (STURDIVANT) WILDEN, 64, of Farmington passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 31, 2009 in Fairfield, California. Marti was born December 7, 1944 in Gallup, NM the daughter of Otis Sturdivant, Sr. and Eileen Sturdivant. She attended Gallup High school where she later graduated. Marti moved to San Juan County in 1981 and married Jack R. Wilden in 1983 in Cortez, Colorado. Marti had a contagious smile and great sense of humor and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and especially a dear friend to all. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Marti is survived by her husband Jack R. Wilden; son, Mick Hug; daughter Krista Wilden; sisters Gail Woods and Louise Brashears; brothers Otis Sturdivant, Jr., Richard Sturdivant and Tony Alvarado; two granddaughters Jackson and Phelan Hug whom she loved and adored. Marti was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Ernest and Josie Sturdivant and Martha and Levi DeArmond and a sister Patricia Bingham. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made in Marti's memory to the Breast Cancer Foundation (address), Special Olympics of Farmington (address) or to the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
