Martha C Wenger

WENGER- Martha Carter, born March 28, 1922, VA, passed away at home on June 3, 2011. Martha was an avid volunteer. For many years she assisted the staff of the Air Force pharmacy at Kirkland Air Force Base. Martha was a 50 plus year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She most recently belonged to the San Marcial number chapter, where she held various offices. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James, after 51 years of marriage. She is survived by her daughters, Diana Roberts, Sandra Kurata, Carol Orr (Tommy), Laura Shifflett (Charles); son, James Wenger Jr.; granddaughter, Martha Roberts. Martha was a loving and beloved wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place and at her request no service will be held. James and Martha's ashes will be scattered at sea at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in Martha's honor to Wild Life West Nature Park at P. O. Box 1359, Edgewood, NM 87015.
