Martin (Marty) Glenn Aragon, age 69, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, with his loving wife Fran by his side.. He was born August 1, 1955 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Narciso and Nora Aragon. He grew up in the North Valley and was a graduate of Valley High School, Class of 1973. He married the love of his life, Frances Perko on May 22, 1985. Martin was manager of Tri Gas for many years. Martin was a devoted husband, neighbor and friend. He loved to build things and design things out of odds and ends he had in his garage. Beautiful tables with ceramic pieces on the top, little benches to put things on, bird feeders and so much more. He was always there when you needed him, whether it was to fill up a child's bike tube, water someone's yard while they were gone, or just to sit and have a nice lunch on the patio. He made great regular and cinnamon bread every Christmas and would gift them to his friends and neighbors. He enjoyed riding his motorcyle and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Narciso and Nora Aragon.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Frances Perko of Rio Rancho, NM; sister, Gertrude Baxter; and many other family and friends.
Services will begin with Recitation of the Rosary, 11:30 AM, October 1, 2024, St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1001 Meteor Ave. NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144. Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 PM.
