Martin David Montoya

Martin David Montoya, born on November 14, 1963 to Rudy and Josie Montoya.

A loving son, father brother, grandfather, godfather, and friend passed away peacefully after a short time illness on January 26, 2021. He was a lifetime resident of Bernalillo.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Rudy and Josie Montoya; grandparents, Haroldo and Minnie Montoya; brother, Steven Montoya and nephew Danny Montoya. He is survived by his son, David Montoya and girlfriend Veronica Vero; granddaughter, Dominique Montoya Romero; brothers, Lawrence and wife Debbie, Joey and wife Irene, Andrew and wife Helen; and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, wood working and model making. He enjoyed life to it’s fullest and will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

A rosary will be recited at 8:00 am on August 27, 2021 with a funeral mass to follow at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church - 9502 4th St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114.

An interment will take place at a later date.
