In Loving Memory of Martin Anthony Panozzo (Marty)

Martin Anthony Panozzo (Marty), age 92, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020. 

Marty was born in Chicago, Illinois to Lorenzo and Giovanna (Joanna) Panozzo.

He attended school at St. Anthony in Chicago, IL. On October 18,1952 in Chicago, IL, Marty married the love of his life, Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Ziller.  

Martin served in the United State Navy, his rank EM-3 for 4 years of service and was in World War II with an honorable discharge in January 1949, He retired from Kirtland AFB after 35 years of service.

Marty loved life and had many interests including shooting, camping, woodworking, and welding.  He was in several organizations NRA, NMGCA, Zia Rifle & Pistol Range, Zia Roamers, American Legion Post 49, VFW Post 4890. His church membership was with Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, along with church activities with Antioch, and Little Parishes.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years Elizabeth (Betty) Panozzo, son Marty Panozzo Jr., daughter in law Marilynne Panozzo, parents Lorenzo & Giovanna (Joanna) Panozzo, brother, Larry Panozzo, Jr.

 Marty is survived by son, Charles Panozzo of Davenport, IA, daughter in law Denise Panozzo of Rio Rancho, NM, brother Louis Panozzo of Washington, DC, also 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.

 He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
