Age 78, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016. He was born to his parents, Paul and Gada Billings of Galena, IL.
He served his country as a Navy Seal for several years.
He had a Home Repair Company and on retiring from his company, he did repairs for his friends. He also worked at St. Paul’s Church for 12 years and High Desert Methodist Church, both in Rio Rancho, NM.  Marvin claimed all the time that the Lord was his boss only.
He is survived by three children, Michelle Mitchel of Rochester, MN, Marvin Billings Jr. of Rochester, MN, Mary Lou Billings of Freeport, IL; his wife, from a previous marriage; Vivian Medrek of Bridgeport, CT; her 4 children, Cameron and Alanna Sanders of Oceanside, CA, Dianna Medrek of Bridgeport, CT, Vincent Medrek of Hartford, CT, Christopher Medrek of Bridgeport, CT; his wife of 9 years, Edna Billings of Rio Rancho, NM.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who love him. A Memorial Service for Marvin will be held at High Desert Methodist Church, 4200 Meadowlark Lane SE, Rio Rancho on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
