Marvin Jumbo

Funeral services for Marrin Dean Jumbo, 48, will be 10 a.m., Dec. 31, at Chinle Catholic Church. The Rev. Blaine Grein, OFM, will officiate. Burial will be in family plot, Chinle. Visitation will be 9 a.m., Dec. 31, in Chinle. Jumbo died Dec. 28, 2010, in Chinle. He was born Oct. 15, 1962, in Ganado, into the Coyote Pass People Clan fo rthe Red Streak People Clan. Jumbo attended Chinle High School. He was a heavy equipment operator for Apache County, Nelson/Skanska, TSR contracting, and many others. He was also a mechanic and owned his own Auto Shop. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Etsitty; son, Robert Dean Jumbo; daughter, Rosanna Jumbo; brothers, Alvin Jumbo, Jerrison Jumbo, Emerson Jumbo. Jumbo was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Jumbo and Della Mae Claw; grandmother, Mary Ann Claw. Pallbearers will be Robert Dean Jumbo, John Fitch and other family members.
