Mary Ann Condit

Mary Ann Condit, age 62, passed away with her family by her side on January 5, 2020 at their home in Los Lunas, NM, after a courageous 6 year battle with cholangiocarcinoma.  
Mary Ann was born on July 20, 1957 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Romolo and Annabelle Turrietta.  She graduated from Rio Grande High School in 1975. On July 30, 1983, she married the love of her life Carl T. Condit. They then moved to Los Lunas, New Mexico and raised their 4 beautiful daughters.  Mary Ann took great pride in her career as a patient account representative at Lovelace for 27 years and at Eye Associates of New Mexico for 10 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and hosting parties so that everyone could be together. She was known for her delicious enchiladas, spaghetti, pineapple upside down, and jello cake. Before being diagnosed with cancer, her and Carl were transitioning into the next stage of their lives as empty nesters. They enjoyed going on motorcycle rides and exploring New Mexico. She also enjoyed taking walks and going to Jazzercise. One of Mary Ann’s greatest joys was her children and grandchildren. She loved watching them play sports, dance, and taking them to the zoo. Even when she was not feeling her best, she never let her sickness define her. It was rare for her to turn down an invitation. She was selfless and made it a point to create as many memories with her family and friends as possible. Most importantly, Mary Ann raised a close and beautiful family and inspired many people through her strength and positivity. 

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her mother, Annabelle Turrietta. She is survived by her husband of 36 years Carl T. Condit and their four daughters; Stephanie Griego and husband Steve; Michelle Garland and husband Nocona; Kimberly Condit and fiancé Kyle; Katherine Condit and partner Alaina; grandchildren; Joshua, Andrew, Damian, Mia, Zoe, Amelia, and Thomas; her father Romolo Turrietta and loving stepmother Logie; sister Regina Garcia and husband Dennis; and many loving nieces and nephews. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 17 at Calvary Chapel New Harvest 701 Main St NE, Los Lunas, NM 87031. Condolences will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by services at 10:00. A reception will follow to celebrate Mary Ann’s life; friends and family are welcome. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
Flowers are welcome at Calvary Chapel New Harvest 701 Main St NE, Los Lunas, NM 87031. The family is requesting memorial donations be made on behalf of Mackenzie Gibson to Carrie Tingley Hospital . The family will be collecting pictures of Mary Ann to celebrate her life. If you have a favorite photo of Mary Ann, please bring a copy to the services to add to the families’ photo album.
