JACKSON- Mary Ann Horos Jackson who was born on 3 December 1916 in Oil City, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 18. A resident of Albuquerque since 1954 she was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Calvin "Jack" Jackson who after retiring from the US Air Force moved the family to Albuquerque where he worked at Sandia Labs until his retirement in 1970. She is survived by her sons Robert of Fresno, CA, David and his wife Joanne of Albuquerque, and George and his wife Setsuko of Rio Rancho, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, reading, especially science fiction and mysteries, working crossword puzzles, playing cards, particularly when she and her sister-in-law beat their husbands, and visiting with friends and family, with many of these occasions accompanied with a little nip of the spirits as a part of her Polish heritage. She was a wonderful mother, homemaker and cook who made excellent apple pies from scratch. Services have been entrusted to:
