Mary Faye was a life long resident of New Mexico residing in Clayton, NM, Albuquerque, NM and eventually in Edgewood, NM where she lived for 27 years.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she also loved hosting annual family reunions. It was very important to her that family knew each other and stayed in communication not just with her but each other.
Mary Faye was well known at the Torrance County Fair, for her prize winning jams, jellies, apple butter, salsas and chow chow. She enjoyed the holidays baking and cooking for all her family. Tortillas, breads, Chile, posole, tamales, biscochitos and empanadas were always on the menu.
Mary Faye was always teaching generations of nieces and nephews the important things in life such as respect for others, keeping your word and not to be afraid of hard work. Mary Faye had many jobs until she settled in at The Albuquerque Country Club in charge of her department, where she worked as a model employee for 20 years. She built foundations to relationships that extended years after retirement.
Mary Faye was and will always be a strong hold in our lives. One of the strongest branches in our family tree. She will be missed, not by one but by many.
