Mary G Baca

Baca, Mary G 69, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Magdalena, NM on April 23, 1942, to Bacilio and Mela (Madril) Gomez. Mary worked as a secretary at the Magdalena Public Schools for 18 years. She loved to do arts and crafts and enjoyed crocheting. She liked to hand paint ceramics and Mary really loved to shop. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Eva Trujillo; and her brothers, Gilbert, Bacilio Jr. and Charlie Gomez. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Monico Baca; her beloved daughters, Yolanda M. Baca and Melissa A. Baca and her fiance, Robert Castillo; her loving son, Edward A. Baca and fiance, Wanda Garcia; her sister, Corine Sanchez and husband, Juan Malvido; her brother, Tommy Gomez and wife, Dolores; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 10:00 am at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Magdalena followed by a Mass of the Resurrection which will be celebrated at 10:30 with Father Andrew Pavlak as Celebrant. Pallbearers will be Gabriel Sanchez, Alfonso Sanchez Jr., Jeffrey Baca, Adam Sanchez, Kyle Peralta, Javan Baca. Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Sanchez, Leroy Trujillo, Joshua Gomez, Jacob Gomez, and Malcolm McCain.
