Mary Bourne

On November 30, Mary Bourne, age 45, passed away unexpectantly from a pulmonary embolism. We are shocked and saddened. Mary was a life-long resident of Albuquerque who graduated from UNM with an Art History degree in 2006 and worked several years for the NM Workforce Solutions Department. Always interested in art, she recently had been taking art classes. She was a free-spirited soul who loved to cook (vegetarian), enjoyed listening to old records, valued nature, and loved her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Violet Milburn; fiancé David C de Baca; brothers John (Kathy), Dave (Theresa), and Dan (Olivia) Bourne; and six nieces and nephews and their children.

We will all miss her smile and kind heart so much.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 5, at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming NE, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
