Mary C. Dominguez

DOMINGUEZ- Mary C. Dominguez, age 63, a lifelong resident of Tucumcari, NM, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2011. Mary graduated from Tucumcari High School in 1966. She was a 22 year survivor of breast cancer, and she proudly finished the 2009 Denver Komen Race for the Cure five mile walk in time to make the survivor Ceremony. Mary was a devout catholic and a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Baca and Grace Baca and one brother, Gilbert Baca. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Joe I. Dominguez; four children, Jolene Barreras and husband, Gabino, James Dominguez and wife, Ashleah, Janel House and husband, Jarrod, Jason Dominguez and wife, Linda; five grandchildren, Brianna Barreras, Rhiannon House, Nickolas House, Brandon Barreras, Aidric Dominguez, Graciela Dominguez, arriving in September; two siblings, Frances Lopez and husband, Fred, Michael Baca and wife, Gina, and her beloved canine, Pepita. Mary had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 306 West High St. Tucumcari, NM. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2011 also at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Interment will be held at Tucumcari Memorial Park For those who desire memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s name to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure at www.komen.org.
