Mary Fazio

Fazio, Mary Age 93, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 13, 1920, to Filippo and Vitina Maria Avanzato (Guzzo). She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fazio; great grandchild, Jennifer Ammann; great-great grandson, Jacob Snider. Mary is survived by her daughter, Angelina Fazio; 3 grandchildren, Marianne (Lonnie) Zimmerman, John Anthony (Kathleen) Ammann, Beth Barber; 6 great grandchildren, Mechelle Stember, P.J. Conti, Jessica Snider, Stephanie Ammann, Cassandra Ammann, Alyssa Ammann; 4 great-great grandchildren, A.J. Stember, Paris Conti, Alex Stember, Christian Snider. Mary was well known as "The Cream Puff Lady" for St. Joseph's Feast Day. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Family was very important, she was committed to helping her daughter recover from a terrifying car accident that nearly claimed Angelina's life. Mary's deep, abiding faith and love for God was of most importance. She loved helping others. She was more than a mother and grandmother, she was our friend. We will pray the Rosary at 10:00 am with the Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:30 am, Monday, March 17, 2014 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
