Mary Grace Gantt

Gantt, Mary Grace a resident of Albuquerque since 1956, passed away June 1, 2014 at her home. She was born in Goderich, Ontario, Canada, February 27, 1924, the daughter of Reverend Samuel S. Hardy and Ethel May Thompson Hardy. She acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing Education from the University of Cincinnati. During her residence in Albuquerque, Mary Grace was a member of: The Assistance League of Albuquerque, Cosmopolitan Women�s Club, Albuquerque Medical Auxiliary, The New Mexico Symphony Guild, National Federation of Republican Women, Boys Scouts of America Den Mother, Little League, Kirtland Officers Wives Club, Albuquerque Museum Foundation and American Diabetes Society. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard R. Gantt, William F. Blank and her sister Dora Hardy. She is survived by her children; Brian F. Blank of Placitas, NM, Victoria L. Ebell and husband Myron of Cheverly, MD, James S. Blank of Albuquerque, NM, Susan E. Page and Brian of Evergreen, CO, Margaret A. Blank of Belen, NM and her fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; Julia Ebell, Charles Ebell, Gemma Ebell, Thomas Ebell, Jennifer Nutt, Holly O�Brien, Brandi Blank, Kaitlin Page, Lauren Page, Madalyn Page, Ryan Blank, Austin Thompson, Travis Thompson, Leandra Thompson, Sarah Frost and family, Megan Nutt, Marty Nutt, Mason O�Brien, Krista Blank, Alissa Blank and Cynthia Borg. Mrs. Grantt will interred with her husband Richard R. Gantt at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe at a private graveside ceremony. Stronge -Thorne Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
