Mary Jane Richey

Richey, Mary Jane Mary Jane Richey, was born February 28, 1927 in Newark, New Jersey, and was called by our Lord on June 4, 2014 after suffering a severe stroke. We have lost a wonderful, loving, wife, mother and grandmother. She was beautiful inside and out, and her gorgeous smile, and strength touched the many who knew her. Jane (as she preferred) will be especially remembered for her love of her ancestral homeland, Ireland, Hawaii, the ocean, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Upon her retirement as an executive secretary with Johnson & Johnson's Research & Development division in Raritan, NJ, she enjoyed some 15 cruises with her surviving husband of 65 years, Robert W. Richey. Jane is also survived by her son, Robert M. Richey, her daughter, Diane R. Pellechio, son-in-law, Anthony Pellechio, granddaughter's Megan and Caitlin Pellechio, and great-grandchildren, Angelica, Elizabeth, and Evelyn. She was pre-deceased by her daughter-in-law, Deborah Richey. A funeral mass will be celebrated by Monsignor Leo Gomez at Risen Savior Catholic Community Church, 7701 Wyoming Blvd, NE, at 10 am, Tuesday, June 10th.
