Prellwitz, Mary Lou 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 2, 2013 with her family at her side. She was born in Chicago, IL on December 23, 1929 to Otto and Erika (Juckel) Hoehne. Mary Lou has been a resident of the Good Samaritan Society - Socorro along with her husband, Raymond for about 15 months. They have previously lived in other parts of New Mexico, Arizona, Wisconsin, New York and Illinois. Mary Lou was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a woman of strong faith and a devoted member of the Lutheran Church. She enjoyed dancing, and even belonged to the Yavapai Senior Steppers in Prescott Valley, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Otto Hoehne, and her sister, Brigitte Bachman. Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Raymond R Prellwitz, whom will continue to reside at the nursing home in Socorro; her devoted son, Robert Prellwitz and wife, Caroline; and her loving daughters, LuAnn Jenkerson and husband, Harold; and Lynette Bolles and husband, David; her grandchildren, Seth, Joseph, Charlie, and Esther Jenkerson; and Nathan and Mollie Bolles; her sisters, Petra Van Zandt and husband, H.O; and Evelyn Hahn and husband, Richard; her half sisters, Isa Jennings; Ute EitelJoerger; and Claudia Teubert; her half brother, Dr. Lutz Hoehne; and many other loving family members. Words of remembrance were spoken by Rev. Harold Jenkerson to family members at the Daniels Family Funeral Services in Socorro.
