Maresh, Mary Celia
Age 91, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016. She was born and raised in Corrales, New Mexico. After meeting her true love, Vernon E. Maresh, she became a military wife and traveled abroad with her loving husband and her two sons. She saw and experienced many different cultures throughout her life. After Vernon retired from the Navy, they lived in California for many years, moved back to Albuquerque where they have resided since. Mary was very passionate about sewing, arts and crafts, painting, leather craft, making flower arrangements, wedding flowers, ceramics and many other projects. She also loved her cat, Shera, Gerald, the goat and the chickens that provided her eggs for breakfast. Mary was proceeded in death by her husband of 69 years, Vernon E. Maresh, Sr.; her son, Frank Maresh; her mother, Roberta Targhetta and her brother Joseph Targhetta. Mary is survived by her son, Vernon Maresh Jr.; daughter Margheritte Apodaca and husband Steve; grandchildren, Amber Archuleta and Justin Apodaca. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 5:00pm at the Daniels Family Funeral Services Sara Rd. Chapel.
