Longtime resident of Albuquerque, loving mother and grandmother passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014. Mary loved animals, was a kind hearted woman and was famous for her biscochitos. She was preceded in death by her husband, James McBride; two sons, Pete and Johnny McBride; sister, Irene Gurule. Mary is survived by her daughters, Barbara Beverly (Jim), Melissa Gallegos; son, Jimmy McBride; sister, Laura Lucero; brothers, Martin Padilla (Sophie), Robert Garcia (Bertha); brother-in-law, Henry Gurule (Betty); grandchildren, Jackie (Troy), Jennifer (Justin), Damian and Johnny Jr.; great grandchildren, Jake (Amanda)Max, Samantha, Ben, Josh and Blake and numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited on Friday October 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels, 717 Stover Ave. SW, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 am.
