Mary J Mentz

Mary J. Mentz, age 77, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 1, 2019 surrounded by her devoted family.

Mary was a loving, caring and giving person who had a heart of gold. On her spare time she loved cooking, doing arts & crafts and spending time with family.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother Senaida, father Edward; son Ernest; Brothers, George, Ignacio, Eddie; and sister Dora. Mary is survived by her son Edward Mentz (wife Sandra), daughter MaryAnn Vigil; grandchildren, Michael, Julie, Nicole, Jasmine, Edward Jr.; great grandchildren, Anthony, Mikayla, Julian & Russell; brothers Mike (wife Socorro), Sammy (wife Arcie) and many nieces & nephews.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 5:00pm following a Rosary at 6:00pm at San Ignacio Church in Albuquerque, NM. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 10:00am at San Ignacio Church. Burial will take place at Fairview Memorial Park following service. A reception will be held at Herman Sanchez Community Center located at 1830 William St SE, 87102 following burial.

Pallbearers are Freddy Carrillo Jr., Andrew Carrillo, Patrick Carrillo, Sammy Chavez, Edward Telles, Edward Mentz Jr. & Michael Rivas. Honorary Pallbearers are Elijah Camacho & Anthony Ernie Rivas.
