Mary Romero

Mary Romero, 79, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was born in Pilar, New Mexico, and raised in Berthoud, Colorado and Santa Maria, California.

Mary and Simon Romero were married in May 1966 in Nipomo, California. They resided in Santa Maria,
California, Farmington, New Mexico, and Rio Rancho, New Mexico. They were blessed with four children; Tony, Danny, David, and Desiree. Mary was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mary graduated from Santa Maria High School. She loved to cook, and worked for many years as head cook at Rio Rancho Elementary school. Whatever the occasion, whatever the need, you could always count on a delicious dish made by Mary.

Mary accepted Jesus as her Saviour. We are now comforted that she is at home with the Lord.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Desiree Lucero (Husband -Jason Lucero), Grandchildren Rosemarie Beeson, Stefonie Montoya, David Lucero(wife – Abby), Nathan Lucero, David Jr. Romero; Great grandchildren Jazzman Beeson, Andrew, Revee, and Justice Montoya, Amirah and Ryder Lucero,  Solomon and Santana Romero; Brothers Bill, Bob, Gilbert; Sisters Esther, Becky, Carol, Sarah, Ruth, Deborah and Lorraine.

Mary will be deeply missed by all!

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband Simon; her sons Tony, Danny, and David; her parents Audenago and Erminia Vigil; brothers Alexander, Nick, Roger, Jose Thomas, Audenago Jr., Juan, David and her sister Dolores.
