Mary Helen"" Spencer

Mary "Helen" Spencer, 83, of Farmington, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 17, 2009. She was born December 4, 1925 in Mobile, Alabama to William and Lemos (Mathis) Bennett. Helen grew up in Birmingham, AL, as a Southern Baptist where she sang in church. She worked as a phone operator for Mountain Bell before marrying Bud Spencer and raised 5 children. Helen took care of the home and helped Bud with their farm lands. She was a member of the San Juan Extension Club. Mom was a loving and wonderful Angel. She suffered Parkinson Disease for 30 years. But now as she passed to heaven, her mind and body are healed. We love you Mom! Helen is preceded in death by her loving husband Watson "Bud" Spencer and her son Kerry Spencer. She is survived by her children, Diana Guymon and husband Grant, Robert Watson and wife Sue, David Spencer and wife Linda, Zona Bunce and husband Mike, and the "apple of her eye" her beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Chris, Jen, Matthew, and Gregory Guymon; Tracie, Kevin and Austin Hill; Heather, Eddie, Jareith, and Astrea Dugger; Chelsie and Tommy Webb; Adam Spencer; Lori Martin; Timothy Dunlap; and Cassie, Ryan, Corey, Ken, Kris, and Krystal Bunce; brothers, Jimmy Bennett and wife LaVone, and Bill Bennett and wife Mary; and by her sister, Jean Click.
