Mary Frances Velasquez

Mary Francis Velasquez May 4, 1940 - August 13, 2009 Mary Francis Velasquez, 69, of Blanco, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, August 13, 2009 in Farmington, after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 4, 1940 in Las Vegas, New Mexico., to Mary and Jose Patricio Prespentt. Mary grew up in Miami, Arizona, where she graduated from high school. She married Rufino Velasquez in 1969 and together they raised three sons. Mary was a very devoted and loving mother and enjoyed watching her sons play sports. She worked at K-Mart for 25 years. Mary is survived by her husband, Rufino; sons, Gregory, Carlos, and Julian Velasquez; sisters, Linda Prespentt, Patsy Velasquez and Brenda Gibson; and by her brothers, Christoval Prespentt, and Vincent Prespentt.
