Masami S Yonemoto

Age 90, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013. He was born May 19, 1923 in Glendale, AZ. Masami is survived by his wife, Masaye Yonemoto; son, Darrell Yonemoto and wife April; daughter, Betty Sachiko Umi and husband Anthony; grandchildren, Othiamba Umi, Kamaria Umi, Natalie Yonemoto; sister, Tazue Akutaguwa. He grew up in Glendale, AZ in a family of farming pioneers and attended high school in Grants, NM. Since 1948 Masami had been a long time resident of Albuquerque, NM. For 40 years he owned and operated his own business Yonemoto's Nursery since the late 1950's. Once Masami retired for his nursery he enjoyed to play golf. A Visitation will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 4, 2013 and the Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services.
