Matthew C. Gardner

Gardner, Matthew C. Age 34, passed away February 25, 2014, at his home in Rio Rancho, NM. He was the son of Marianne and John Gardner; grandson of Margaret Casey; and grandson of Martha Gardner. Matt was born January 16,1980, in Albuquerque, NM. He graduated from Cibola High School in 1998 and earned his Associates Degree in Network and Systems Administration at CNM in 2002. He met his lifelong partner, Kelton Hudzik during his junior year of high school, and they had been together ever since. They were engaged to be married this Fall. Matt was a devoted employee at the T-Mobile in Albuquerque call center for almost 15 years, first beginning as a technical support specialist, and later worked his way up to IT Administration. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with Kelton, his family, friends, and beloved animal companions. Matt had a passion for music, a love for acting, and was a talented pianist. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, February 28, 2014 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in Matt's name to Watermelon Mountain Ranch, 1512 Deborah Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
