Brenner, Maureen V. (Mo) was born on April 11th, 1930 in London, England, the third of eleven children. Mo passed away on January 13th, 2011 after a short illness. She migrated to the United States in 1957 and on October 12th of that year married her husband, Nick. She and Nick were married over 53 years. Colorado was her home for over 41 years and she resided in New Mexico for the past 13 years. Two children were born to Mo and Nick, Veronica Brenner-Hood of Aztec, NM and Vincent Brenner of Granby, CO. They were also blessed with two grandchildren, Jeanie Baird of Kremmling, CO and Eric Brenner of Granby, CO and two great grandchildren, Ashlynn Baird and Oden Baird, both of Kremmling, CO. Mo is survived by her sister, Freda Hinkle of Oklahoma City, OK as well as two sisters, a brother, and many nieces and nephews living in England. Mo worked many years in the retail clothing business, where for several years she managed the children’s department of the Fashion Bar clothing store located in southwest Denver. She also found time to volunteer at hospitals and for the past thirteen years volunteered at the Farmington Museum and Visitors Center. She was particularly fond of working at the Museum and especially grateful for the friendships she enjoyed. Mo loved her adopted country and never wanted to live anywhere else.
