Maurice Gonzales II

Gonzales, Maurice Maurice passed away unexpectedly on May 3, 2013. He was born to Maurice and Velva Gonzales on July 28, 1961. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Amarante Trujillo of Taos, Alejandro Gonzales; grandmother Felicita Gonzales of Questa; uncles, G. Daniel Trujillo and Alonzo Trujillo of Taos, Alex Gonzales of Las Vegas, NV and Rickey Gonzales of Questa. He is survived by his parents; one brother Edward M. Gonzales and wife, Annette; one niece, Priscilla M. Gonzales; one nephew, Aaron Gonzales; grandmother Tina Trujillo of Taos and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Maurice graduated from Del Norte HS and the University of New Mexico. He was involved in sports, playing baseball and football at Del Norte and football at UNM. Rosary will be recited at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming BE.
