Maurine was born in Marysvale, UT on March 22, 1931, to Luella Sargent Ollerton and Seth Ollerton. She had four siblings, Kathryn Kimball, Linda Smith (Deceased), Margo Hobbs, and Lee Ollerton. Maurine was married to McKay Peterson (deceased) and is survived by her daughters Kaylene Peterson Gchachu and Kristine (Krissy) Boykin. Her family also includes son in laws Kirby Gchachu and Rudy Herrera; grandchildren, Brandon Waseta, Maya Gchachu and Mandi Boykin as well as granddaughter in law Patricia Kirby and great grandson River McKay Gchachu. During her life, Maurine lived in Marysvale, Salt Lake, Salina and Layton UT, as well as Zuni, Flora Vista, Kirtland and Socorro NM. She was a business owner, worked in sales and was a healthcare provider. She made many friends wherever she lived. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
