Max P. Liebers

Liebers, Max P. Age 94, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012. He was born in Minden, NE on August 8, 1918, to Henry and Annie Liebers. Max proudly served in the US Army, receiving multiple medals including the Combat Infantry Badge, Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Certificate of Merit, EAMT Ribbon, Victory Ribbon, Army of Occupation Ribbon (Germany), and Certificate of Retirement. He was a member of the Rio Rancho United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Cloe Liebers. Max is survived by his daughter, Carol L. Pulis, of Albuquerque, NM; son, David L. Liebers, of Norfolk, NE; four grandchildren, Steven, Tarasa, Tamara, and Angela; and six great grandchildren, Devon, Greg, Elisa, Gabby, Sabrina and Atiya. Visitation will be held Monday, November 5, 2012, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Rio Rancho United Methodist Church, 1652 Abrazo Rd NE, Rio Rancho. Memorial Service follow at, 3:00 pm. Interment will be held at a later date in Minden, Nebraska. In lieu of flowers the family has requested a donation be made to the National Parkinson Foundation in Max&&s honor.
