Age 93, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in Socorro, NM. She was born in Willcox, AZ on September 10, 1922, to Green and Lonetta (Foster) Carter. She married Arch Wilson Jr. and lived in Williams, Arizona. Maxine later came to New Mexico where she and her family have owned and operated the Three Links Ranch in Magdalena, NM for many years. She was a member of the Socorro Woman's Golf Association and loved to play golf . She also loved to play bridge and poker with her friends. She was a world traveler and enjoyed collecting anything that had to do with elephants. But the greatest love for "Baba" were the times she had with her family all together. Maxine was a loving, caring and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her granddaughter, Breann Wilson. Maxine is survived by her sons, Arch "Buck" Wilson III and wife, Cecilia and Brian Wilson; daughter, Paige Wilson; her grandchildren, Clay Goret and wife Elena, Kyle Goret, and Amanda Montoya and husband Carl; great grandchildren, Emily, Miranda and Kira Goret and Will, Clint, Shane and Falene Montoya; and many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Maxine's home on Wednesday, July 13, 1026 at 11:00 am .
