As luck would have it she was already blessed with two sisters and five older brothers and then one younger sister and five more brothers. To this marriage were born three children; Sandra, Barbara, and Donald. In 1946 May met a young handsome Howard Currier of Dodge City dancing up to the steps to the party, and he asked her to return with him. Marrying in March of that year they danced their way through life. To this union three children were born, D. Lynn, Susan and H. Duane. After several years living in Western Kansas they made their way to Colorado and then on to New Mexico in April of 1957. Settling in Kirtland in 1966 May made her home and numerous friends. Here she remained until Dec. of 2006 when her health no longer allowed her at home. Finally on Sun. May 17, 2009 at the age of 91 years 3 months and 4 days May went to be with her Heavenly Father and the other family she longed to see again.
