Mayta Morris

Mayta Morris passed away on 01/19/22 surrounded by her family at home.

She was a lifelong resident of Corrales.

She graduated from Bernalillo High School in 1959.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Rosemary Martinez, sister, Theresa Ann Martinez, and brother, Richard Martinez.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Morris of 27 years, brother, Ralph Martinez and his wife, Erlinda; sister-in-law, Patsy Martinez; daughter, Evette Davenport; son, Patrick Lucero and his wife, Tammy Lucero; grandchildren, Adriana Mora, Gabriel Martinez, Arthur Davenport, Krystal Davenport, Mariah Lucero, Macy Lucero; great grandchildren, Joseph Mora, Jonathan Mora, Anthony Martinez, Valerie Martinez, Adalyn Davenport, Emery Davenport, and Jeremiah George; and nieces and nephews.

In her honor, please wear turquoise jewelry to the rosary and mass.

A rosary will be recited on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 9:30 am with a mass to follow at San Ysidro Church, 5015 Corrales Rd. Corrales, Nm 87048.
