Melba Mussette Fontaine

Melba Mussette Fontaine entered this world on September 9, 1963, in Plattsburgh, New York, and departed from us on April 23, 2024, in Goodyear, Arizona, at the age of 60. She was a cherished wife of 40 years to Emmanuel Fontaine, a devoted mother to Isalee Fontaine-Campbell and Tyriq Fontaine.

She graduated from West Mesa High School in Albuquerque, NM, in the Class of 1981, and later earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Park University. Melba ran track and enjoyed all sports, but her favorites were basketball and football. She also enjoyed traveling, music, dancing, and savoring various cuisines with unmatched enthusiasm. She had a special bond with her daughter and son through video games that lasted through the decades. Amusement parks are fond memories that will be carried on through her family for generations
to come.

Melba will be remembered for her kindness and love that she shared with her family and friends. Her presence brought joy to all those around her, and her memory will forever be treasured.

She is survived by her loving husband Emmanuel Fontaine, daughter Isalee Fontaine-Campbell, son Tyriq Fontaine, godson Troy Cogdell, granddaughter Damelia Campbell, brothers Rodney Hill and Jonathan Hill, nephews Raymond Hill III, Michael Hill, Michael Farrell, Blake Duncan, Tyler Hill, nieces Ramise Pams, Vrenelli Hill, Nicole Pena, Ashley Castillo, and Jordann Ray. Melba was preceded in death by her mother Annie B. Hill, father Joe N. Hill, sister Wanda D. Hill, and brothers Raymond Hill II & Jason Hill.

In this time of mourning, we find solace in knowing that Melba is now reunited with her mother Annie B. Hill, father Joe N. Hill, sister Wanda D. Hill, and brothers Raymond Hill II & Jason R. Hill, who have gone before her.

The funeral arrangements for Melba are being handled by Daniels Family Funeral in Albuquerque. May she rest in peace.

A viewing and memorial service will be held Friday May 3rd for friends and family at 10am, with the memorial service at 10:30am both located at Daniels Family Funeral 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque NM 87109.
