Melissa Bridget Garcia

It is with great sadness the family of Melissa Bridget Garcia announces her passing on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the age of 49.  She was born August 3, 1972 in Albuquerque, NM to Pete and Margie Romero. She attended Rio Grande High School. She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM and retired after working for Walmart for 20 years.  She was a member of Legacy Church. She enjoyed shopping, going to church, and loved spending time with her family.  She was loved by many and was always the center of attention when she entered the room.  Melissa always put others before herself.  

Melissa is survived by her son, Noah Garcia; daughter, Ariana Garcia; parents Pete and Margie Romero; former spouse and best friend, Walter Garcia; brother and sister-in-law, Pete and Roberta Romero; brother and sister-in-law, Marty and Briana Romero; sister, Patricia Romero; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Visitation and Viewing will be held Friday, February 11, 2022, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Daniels Family Funeral Services, 2400 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.

Melissa will be greatly missed and will live in our hearts forever.  Thank you family and friends for your ongoing support during this difficult time.
