CHAVEZ----Mercedes "Sadie" Chavez Sanchez, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 17, 2008. Mercedes has been a devout and life long member of the Catholic Church; she is preceded in death by her husband Felix Chavez, a daughter Judy Chavez and her parents Manuel and Maria Sanchez. Sadie, is survived by two daughter, Jane Chavez and Rita Montano , 3 grand daughters; Felicia Montoya, Melinda Montoya and Nicole Beserra; 4 great-grandchildren, a sister Tilly Archibeque. She enjoyed making people laugh. Sadie was easy going and a people pleaser. Pallbearers: Gilbert Sanchez, Manuel Sanchez, John Corona, Michael Archibeque, Edward Archibeque and Bobby Cordova. Honorary Pallbearer will be Carlos Rodriguez. Services are entrusted to:
