Merl Myron Reed Jr.

Reed, Merl Myron Jr. Age 91, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Merl was a life long resident of Albuquerque since 1958. He moved here from Youngstown, Ohio. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a recipient of three Bronze Stars, Purple Heart and his unit received a Presidential Citation at the end of the war. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Reed, daughters, Betty James and Patricia Louis; parents, Merl and Velma Reed. Merl is survived by daughter, Sally Wiscott and husband Ronald Sr.; sister, Hattie Klein; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM with a Funeral Service to follow.
