age 94, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 18, 2012. She was born in Alameda, NM, and was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. She was preceded in death by her husband CM Bazan; son, Claude Bazan; grandsons, James and Andrew Bazan; sisters, Eliveria, Eloisa, Lucy and Dometillia. Merlinda is survived by her loving children, Alexander Bazan and wife MaryAnn, Trudy Parker and husband Garner; daughter-in-law, Sofia Bazan; her brother, Fidel Lucero and wife Dora; sisters, Silveria Apodaca, Mary Lovato; grandchildren, Antoinette, Matthew and wife Francis, Claude Bazan and Maggie Gleeson and husband Bill; five great-grandchildren, Mercedes, Alessandro, Liam Bazan, Jack and Marina Gleeson; other numerous relatives and friends. Merlinda will be greatly missed by all. Visitations will this evening Monday, February 20, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9205 Fourth St., NW, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Service of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment will follow at the San Carlos Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Matthew Bazan, Claude Bazan, Gerald Griego, Abel Saavedra, Bill Gleeson and Van Rocco. Honorary Bearers will be Robert Baldonado and Garner Parker. Merlinda��?�s care has been entrusted to:
