Michael Keith Browne

Browne, Michael Keith Age 62, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 in Socorro, NM. Mike was born in San Rafael, CA on August 7, 1951 to Rev. John D. and Nona (Taylor) Browne. He was raised in Utah and moved to Socorro in 1973 after serving four years in the US Air force. He worked at White Sands Missile Range, Stallion Site from 1973 to 1987 and then at the Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge from 1987 until retirement in 2007. He was an avid fisherman, loved the outdoors, and was active in the Socorro chapter of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He is preceded in death by his father. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Maria Dolores (Baca) Browne of Socorro; his children, Jennifer Ann Gonzalez of Aurora, CO; and Andrea Lynn Browne of Denver, CO; his stepchildren, Kim Darwin; and Paul, Derrick and James Sadosuk; his mother, Nona Browne of Albuquerque; his brother, Richard Browne of West Chester, PA; his sister, Melissa Boiles of Nacogdoches, TX; his grandchildren, Kyra, Jasmine and Larissa Browne; Michael and Brandon Gonzalez; Jessie Rios; Daniel Elias Chavez Jr.; Isaac, Justin, Zabrina and Damon Sadosuk; and his great grandson, Brian Miguel Gonzalez. The family's gratitude is extended to good friend, Charles R. "Bob" Wolf for his constant care during Mike's last illness.
