Our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend Michael John Dolz was taken from us too soon. On June 30, 2018, the Lord brought him home after complications from surgery. On September 9 1986, Michael came into the world in a big way, 9lbs 1oz at Kirkland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM.
Michael is survived by his parents Juan and Lisa Dolz, Sisters Elena and Erica Dolz, Yia Yia (Grandmother) Eva Jean Fomalont, Abuelos (Grandparents) Ricardo and Elena Dolz and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. He is preceded in death by his Grandfather John Foster.
Michael’s short but full life was lived in Tacoma, WA, Fayetteville NC, New Cumberland, PA Clarksville, TN, Colonial Heights, VA, Cancun, Mexico and Albuquerque, NM. He was the quintessential “Army brat”.
Michael is a graduate of Colonial Heights High School. He studied Computer Science at Central New Mexico University. Michael was recently working with Gomez Electric as a journeyman.
Michael loved his family, his four legged friends, all holidays, and life itself. Some of his favorite hobbies were camping, fishing, movies, and anything electronic. One of his favorite past times was unannounced visits to family and friends.
Michael will always be remembered for his genuine warmth, kind heart, loving personality and beautiful smile.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church Memorial Fund and Paws & Stripes Albuquerque - www.pawsandstripes.org
