59, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015. He was born in Socorro, NM on April 30, 1955 to Andres and Orfelita (Sedillo) Vallejos Jr. Michael, also loving and jokingly known as "Mad Mike", was a lifelong resident of Socorro and graduated from Socorro High, class of 1973. He was a hardworking man and an especially skilled and talented Mechanic. He and his brother, Andy and brother in law, Johnny, owned and operated AMJ Towing for many years before he opened Mike's Auto. His hobbies were Mechanics and Automotives. He loved collecting Classic Cars, building models, attending car shows, the occasional drag race, and many back road cruises. Mike enjoyed antiquing and had a green thumb, growing some of the most beautiful flowers and sweetest Watermelons. As hard as Mike worked, he loved even harder. His family meant everything to him. He will be missed more than anyone could ever know and his smile will never be forgotten. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents; his sister, Cora Jean; and his brothers, Ronnie; Andy III; and Jerry. Mike is survived by his loving daughter, Norma M. Hughes; his devoted sons, Michael Vallejos Jr.; Josh Lee Vallejos and companion, Alisha Guerrero; and Jared Vallejos and companion, Cristal Salas; his brother, Tony Vallejos; his sisters, Charlene V. Montoya; Belinda Vallejos; and Cora Tracy; the mother of his children and best friend, Celia Vallejos; and many other loving family members, nieces, nephews, and close friends. Grandpa Mike loved and adored his grandchildren, Brandon Michael; Michael Zane; Faith Alaysa; Alyssa Ariana; and Joshua Jaiden Lee. The Holy Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 9:30 am at the San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Polvadera, followed by the Communion service which will be celebrated at 10:00am with Deacon Mike Ybarra officiating. Inurnment will be held in the San Lorenzo Cemetery. Pallbearers are Michael Vallejos, Josh Vallejos, Jared Vallejos, Brandon Hughes, Joel Dee Partridge, and TJ Salas. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Vallejos, AJ Aldaz, Danny Vallejos, and Johnny Montoya.
