Michael "Mike" Martinez

Michael “Mike” Martinez, age 58, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023 in Las Vegas, NM. He was born March 14, 1965 to his parents, Cirilio and Marcella Martinez in Las Vegas, NM.

He was a student at Alamosa Elementary School, Truman Middle School, and graduated from West Mesa High School.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Roybal, paternal grandparents, Fidel and Rosa Martinez, and father-in-law, Manuel Mora.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Beatrice “Berta” (Mora) Martinez of Albuquerque, NM; his parents, Cirilio and Marcella Martinez of Las Vegas, NM; his children: Mark, Mike and Monique Martinez, of Albuquerque, NM; sisters: Mary Rose Martinez and spouse, Ronnie of Albuquerque, NM, Myra Velasquez and spouse, John of Albuquerque, NM, and Melissa Martinez and spouse, Juan of Albuquerque, NM; four grandchildren; and many loving nephews, nieces and friends.

He worked in the Fire Safety Industries for 32 years.

He attended Calvary Chapel Southwest. He enjoyed going to the flea markets.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Chapel Southwest, 6510 Fortuna NW, Albuquerque, NM.
