Age 44, passed away May 26, 2012. He was born November 18, 1967 in East St. Louis, IL to Martha and Michael Stechmesser. He graduated from Las Cruces High School in 1985. Michael worked as an electrician in Chicago, IL, Indiana and New Mexico. He was also a great animal lover. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Anna Smith. Michael is survived by his mother, Martha Leary of Rio Rancho; Aunt Barbara and Uncle Robert of Deming; Uncle Don of Indiana; Lorie Reid and family; Richard and Wayne Romanik and families of Illinois; many cousins; his many, many friends. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Martha Leary, 6496 Freemont Hills Lp NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144.
